The Ounce's Educare movement got another significant boost when U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan was on hand to mark the dedication of the new Oklahoma City Educare Center.

Sec. Duncan used the occasion not only to praise the public/private partnerships that drive the success of Educare, but also to acknowledge the success the Ounce's model is having in helping the nation educate its way to a stronger economy - starting with our youngest citizens. He also noted that his connection to Educare dated back nine years to when he toured Educare of Chicago.
