Parents As Teachers (PAT) Consultant (part-time contract work for Chicago area)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: IBTI PAT Training Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

Four-year degree in early childhood, child development, or related field. A minimum of three years experience with a Parents as Teachers program. Supervision experience preferred. Must be able to travel to Chicago area PAT programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be familiar with PAT program design and PAT Standards and Quality Indicators
Provide technical assistance site visits to PAT programs
Provide ongoing phone consultation to PAT programs as needed
Provide PAT programs with training and other pertinent information
Conduct PAT awareness presentations
Attend regional early childhood network meetings
Assist with collection of PAT program data
Be aware of state level and regional initiatives that address the needs of young children
Participate in professional development activities
